3700 Wilshire

This adaptive reuse project gives new life to a locally designated Historic Cultural Monument in the heart of Koreatown, transforming it into 370 joint living and work quarters. A comprehensive seismic retrofit and carefully considered facade improvements preserve the building’s historic character while preparing it for a new wave of housing demands. Portions of the existing parking structure are reimagined as shared tenant amenities, introducing new programs within the landmark’s established form.
