Mother Wolf

Within the historic Citizen News building, we created a restaurant environment that balances the character of the existing architecture with a bold, contemporary expression. The design carefully frames the dining experience through materiality and proportion, while celebrating the building’s distinctive industrial character. Mother Wolf is Chef Evan Funke’s homage to the Eternal City and culinary heritage of La Cucina Romana. This flagship location celebrates California’s unique and fertile growing regions.
