Van Nuys Building

This project involved the renovation of 299 apartment units and support spaces for senior housing in an existing 11-story building built in 1913. This building was given Historic Landmark status at the recommendation of the Cultural Heritage Commission in 2007. We worked closely with Robert Chattel, a preservation architect, to assess remaining original elements that could be restored to their original design.
